The Effect of Sorghum bicolor L. Moench Tannin Levels in The Ration on Feed Consumption, Body Weight Gain, Feed Conversion and Mortality of Broiler

The study was conducted at Poultry Production Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, to evaluate the effect of Sorghum bicolor L. Moench tannin in the ration on feed consumption, weight gain, feed conversion, and mortality. Ninety six broiler chikens DOC Hybro final stock were placed into 24 colony cages by random. The experiment was arrenged with Completely Randomized Design, with four treatment and six times replication. The treatment of ration contained Sorghum bicolor L. Moench tannins 0 % ; 0,22 % ; 0,44 % ; and 0,65 %. The result indicate that ration contained Sorghum bicolor L. Moench tannin 0,22 %was equal with control ration. But on feed conversion, by using Sorghum bicolor L. Moench tannin till 0,65 % in the ration there were no negative effect.
