Implementation Of SDGS 9 at Fapet Unpad

9.1 Infrastructure Support for Sustainable Development

Our university is committed to supporting sustainable infrastructure development by enhancing research and teaching facilities in the field of animal husbandry, including modern laboratories, up-to-date technological equipment, and high-speed internet access across the campus area. These facilities not only improve the quality of education but also assist researchers in creating innovations for a more efficient and environmentally friendly livestock sector.

9.2 Research and Innovation in Animal Husbandry Technology

The Faculty of Animal Husbandry actively conducts research and innovation in livestock technology, such as developing integrated waste management systems to produce organic fertilizer, creating locally sourced feed technologies, and utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT) to monitor animal health. These research efforts aim to provide practical solutions for farmers and support a more sustainable livestock industry.

9.3 Collaboration with Industry and Community

To support technology transfer and innovation, the university actively collaborates with companies, farmer groups, and local governments. These partnerships include training on the use of livestock technologies, assistance in implementing innovations in the field, and joint research to develop agricultural infrastructure that is resilient to climate change.
